Where Faith and Fun Come Together
A Message from SPN Summer Camp
We are sad to announce that for a number of reasons related to the COVID-19 response, we will not conduct SPN Summer Camp this year. This decision was made after a great deal of discussion and reflection by the SPN youth ministry staff in conjunction with Father DeAscanis. Though camps are permitted to open under Phase 1 of the governor's plan, we recognized that the restrictions on the size of gatherings, the prohibitions against ball games, the logistics of gym use and other activities, and the requirements to wear masks, to social distance, and to maintain extreme levels of cleanliness, made the sort of camp experience we aim to provide impossible. We have already begun providing refunds for those who have registered. We are encouraged by the continued interest in camp this year, and it is our intention to renew the SPN Summer Camp next year.
We are praying with you that the virus will pass quickly, and we can resume all of those activities that bring us joy and meaning. We also pray that you will have a safe and blessed summer.

SPNSC participants range from 4 - 12. Our camp offers volunteer positions for younger youth, ages 13 - 15. Our camp ministers consist of young adult leaders, ages 16 - 22. Our camp minister program is dedicated to empowering a team of paid high school and college age young adults to plan and implement classes, sports, and activities for campers.
Our unique camps include soccer, theater, crafts and many more - all at affordable rates. More importantly, our staff is not only hand selected as positive role models, but also is formed daily both spiritually and professionally.
The SPNSC is a open parish summer camp, meaning children from the parish, school, and/or the surrounding area can participate. Campers and their families do not have the be Catholic to participate; however the camp will be operated according to Catholic Christian principles. The camp will be fun and safe for all who participate.
